Default DS or PSP

Which handheld do you prefer? I prefer the DS because the touch screen leads to some new and interesting forms of game play. The PSP has better graphics and more 'serious' games, but I think that handhelds lend themselves more to the shorter 'pick up for a few minutes' games of the DS. I prefer to keep my serious games to the PC and consoles.

What it comes down to is what you are going to be using the system for. If you only want to play games, then go with the DS. The games are more fun, and its more innovative as a system. However, the PSP has other merits, such as ports of DVD movies and acts as more of a pda. I enjoy how the DS is treated separately from the other nintendo systems, while the psp is just more of a handheld playstation.

I like the PSP to pass time on rides and planes, but if its for kids, get the DS. I think of these things as something to keep kids busy while doing long road trips. I don't consider them real gaming systems I guess.

Default I prefer PSP rather than DS

I prefer PSP rather than DS. When you first lay your hands on the PSP, you immediately notice the screen. The 4.3-inch display dominates the device, it looks like it takes up two-thirds of the real estate on the front fascia. In other words, massive. The unit feels expensive, and exudes sexiness, much like Apple's iPods (and you know how big of a fan we are of iPods). The unit feels perfectly balanced when held with both hands. It does not feel like a $200 console (Japan MSRP for console only) at all.

I'd have to go with the PSP. The games seem better, plus you can watch movies and get on the Internet.

The new PSP Go looks pretty sweet. I might have to get one of those.

i don't like the new psp go it can go jump off a cliff hahaha but psp is better in all aspects if you wanted to tamper with the processor in it its as strong as a ps2 or stronger they just under clocked the processor to save battery life
