I have a Nordstrom a block away from work. Guess where I went on my lunch hour the other day.

I leave work at 4 on Fridays. I feel so guilty, knowing that everyone else stays until 5.

Without GC, I was forced to watch tv yesterday. Yeah, the cable's free, but it's totally crappy . I have 37 channels. 10 of those are public access channels (WHY??? WHY??? WHY IS THIS NECESSARY??? ). 3 are Spanish channels (too bad I don't understand a word of Spanish). I have 2 C-Span channels, a boxing channel, and 2 horse racing channels (too bad I'm not into politics, boxing, or horse racing). And I have three shopping channels (QVC, Shop NBC, and HSN), which I'm not into either.

Here's the list of all the cable channels I don't have that I wish I had: MTV, VH1, BET, E!, Style, Bravo, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, USA, TNT, FX, TLC, Discovery, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, and any movie channels (IFC, Sundance Channel, AMC, TMC, etc.)

What kind of horrible cable do I have? Poor, poor me. I always feel so left out whenever there's a thread on GC about shows on one of the channels I don't have (like 8th & Ocean, Surreal Life, and Nip/Tuck)

OMG. I love Nordstrom so much. Sometimes I spend way too much money there on cool-ass stuff and, as a result, I look really awesome. It sucks.

My problem is that I did not have any desks to cover at work. What makes them think that 4 programs all by myself is enough? What in the world is so hard about pushing a giant TV cart and being in charge of crowds? Come on- gimme more, gimme more!

This sucks. It is 95 degrees here and my husband and I just signed a contract to build an inground pool.

My problem is that I landed a job for the summer that lets me work whatever hours I want, I can wear whatever I want, I have a huge office with a great view and huge plush couches, and somedays I have to work outside and get a tan. It's depressing, I know.

Amen. I miss Nordstrom and they need one in Waco!
Woe is me...I guess I'll have to deal with nordstrom.com.

I truly, deeply, feel sorry that I won't have to pay for things that I get today since it's my birthday and all. I should be driving all the way to Dallas right now to spend my own cash at a Nordstrom and release the burden of buying me things from my parents and friends, but...ah...I'm such a horrible person. And I'm freaking old. 20.

(It's really too long 'til my 21st, but I'll get what I can take. Presents!)

I went to a Graduation party this weekend and the food was so good that I was just completely stuffed all evening. Then they gave me some to take home the next morning. After feeding me BREAKFAST!

The nerve..
