The Planet is actually quite low end. The hardware they use isn't at all top of the line, most of it is Dell stuff, and as we all know, Dell uses a lot of CRAP in their hardware. Network wise they're actually decently strong with the number of diverse providers, and size of the connections, along with the fact they do have some nice firewall setups. Though I've heard their firewalls as of this point are disabled for some reason.

If you want high end though, there's a lot better places that you could go; www.rackspace.com is one those, or http://www.prioritycolo.com is another good one to go with.
