I use CCleaner's registry cleaner, and I run the cleaner as often as I can.

Most of registry cleaner over internet as freeware are virus in it self. I have used tuneup ulities and its a damn awesome software for all in one pc cleaning. Highly recommended. Tuneup utilities 2010.
