Default GameMaker... anyone have used it?

Hello friends,
I checked this small game making software few months ago.. Its a nice software for making little small games on yourself just for fun..

You can download it from Download.com ( not sure of now, I downloaded it from there ).

Any other game making software you know about ? Please post here..

I used a demo of gmae maker but didnt like it

I used dark basic a few years ago but you need to know how to program to us it.

If you dont want to learn how to program the game maker is the best you can do if your willing to learn a new languge give dark basic a go.

Dark basic is a bit like BASIC programming languate, but altered to make it easier for beginners to make games. It isn't free. I bought it a few years ago for about $40 - if you're learning to program then you may as well use C++ IMO - learn to program properly.
