Default Flash?

Do you use Flash for you sites? I was a part of the big Flash craze during the relases of Flash 4 and 5, but now I think it's not that great of an option. I don't even have the plugin installed on my computer. It's not very search engine friendly. Long intros and other effects quickly become boring when you have to watch it over and over while the button you want to click finally fades in.

I think there are some good uses for it, like cartoons and games, but overall, I don't use Flash nearly as much as I used to.

The use of Flash is specific for each genre of sites, like you said that it is better to use in Games sites ( some games site have even small games of made in flash ). Similarly some cartoon ( entertainment ) related sites can also look pretty fine with flash but I dont think that it has not that great expression on visitors on business sites.

Overall I will use it very (very) few times on my sites. ( Only when there is extreme need of it ).

I can't stand flash - if a site has more than a tiny amount on it (maybe a flash logo or something) then I leave instantly.

So no, I don't use flash on my own sites.

I agree with that, but in some time, if u include FLASH in some space, that will give more weightage to your page.
