Default ReCaptcha

Guys, I just signed up and noticed that yall have a small problem with spam bots.

The version of vbulletin your using has certain human verification options built in. One of them is ReCaptcha. Turning that feature on will stop 99.9% of the spam bots.

Sign up for an account at recaptcha.org and get your keys.

VB admin control panel - left column - vbulletin options - and in the drop down menu of the left column under vbulletin options look for "Human Verification Manager" - click it.

Under Human Verification Manager in the main window - Human Verification Library - and click the reCAPTCHA radio button.

Under the reCAPTCHA Verification Options - enter your public and private keys.

Click save at the bottom of the page. And you just stopped most of the spam bots. Log out, click the register link and you should now see the ReCaptcha box instead of the old style captcha phrase.

Spam bots broke the old style captcha phrase a long time ago. Its of little use to stop bots any more.
