Default Photoshop Cs2 Vs Paintshop Pro

Hm...

So what do you think? Who wins the race? For me, definitely PS wins the race due to the AMAZING features that it has to offer Not only that, there are many websites that shows you PS tutorials and many websites offer PS resources. Though it's expensive it's worth it

Paintshop Pro can be used if you are not planning to really get a career out of your designing skills and you do it just to satisfy yourself or in your spare time...Most people don't choose Photoshop because of it's cost.

However, I would go with PS due to some reasons mentioned above

What about you?

I would have to go with Photoshop because it is much better then Propaint. Also I just trust photoshop more with what I need to do.

Photoshop definitely has better features, but it also has a heavy price tag to it. Paint Shop Pro isn't that bad either. I think it all comes down to personal comfort.

Paint Shop Pro is far easier to use and can yield great results in half the time. However, it's feature list is significantly smaller than PhotoShops, and is not as well geared towards image manipulation.

Both programs are excellent, and for the casual designer or home user looking to edit images, Paint Shop Pro is more than adequate. For professionals looking to create print-quality work and use industry standard file formats, it's Photoshop all the way.
