Default How does your site rank on the three big search engines?

So, how does your site rank on the major search engines out there i.e:
  • Google
  • MSN
  • Yahoo!

My site does good on Goolge. It has a PR of 4 on Google. (MyIndya.Com). Whereas, on MSN and Yahoo! it doesn't really do well.

What about you? Please post.

I use to have a image hosting site, and it was growing uncontrollably, until I sold it for $1500 and lived happily ever after since.

Heh, not really, but it was climbing the google rankings so fast it was almost on the 2nd page by the time I sold it. Now the new owner hasn't touched it and it...died.

I used to have a site set up. I did a direct search for the domain on google, and it didn't even show up.

I had to make a very simple xhtml site for college

After a few months I started to notice that I was getting hits from msn searches

When I checked msn I found out for a while the simple site I made was the second redult if you searched for, Bulid your own computer.

I dont think its any more but it was good while it lasted

Tips to improve the page rank

1. Get Incoming Links from High Quality Related Sites- connect your site with other high rated website or blogs.
2. Remember to use SEO techniques: - SEO plays a vital role in increasing the page rank. Implement the SEO tips to get increase in page rank faster.
3. Write original content.: - do not copy paste any content from one site to yours
4. Don’t go link crazy: - many think incoming links add credit to their website and start posting comments in forums and other discussions leaving ads to their site. This will not help in any context. Don’t do this.
5. Write Great Content: make sure your site content is great and unique. If you write great content people will automatically link to your site which will increase your site rank.
you can also follow some technical method like Search engine Visibility service from TheWebPole.com

I couldn't find your website. If your website has PR4, you seems good in website promotion.

Actually the share of Bing and yahoo are smaller compared to Google. So actually you do not need to worry too much about it.

In case if you want to improve your ranking in yahoo and bing (former MSN), register your website in Bing webmaster center and add your website's sitemap. In addition to this continue with your link building and content generation process till you see the result.

This is because the user was talking about his site in the year 2006 which is 6 years back

Cheers.
