My name is Jason, and I am a Moderator/Expert on Linux Server Talk. I have been running a server since 2003 and I moved from being a (very) strong M$ admin to Linux. I will never forget that. I started using Linux (all the time) in late 2004. Now, you could call me an Expert at Linux! Still, I learn everyday and hope to learn more on these forums.

Since 2004, I have owned my own web hosting business and we have now expanded into Internet Services (locally only). If you are looking for some professional and quality hosting, check out site out.

Welcome to the forums Jason, I am very grateful that you could donate your time to become one of our mods. I think I have to agree with you. I am learning something new every day with Linux.

There really wasn't too much of a switch from Windows for myself. I was not about to pay Microsoft $700 for a operating system when Linux is free, more stable and secure. I started using Linux in 2003, I had allot of help along the way and met many great friends. Thats the great thing about Linux people are always willing to help.

I agree, Linux always has people to help.

I had been using Windows for many years, and I had been "deep" into it. I was actually a M$ geek! What a nut!

I'm so glad I switched.
