Default How do you choose a domain name?

So,

How do you choose a domain name? Do you look for keywords which are highly targeted? Do you prefer long / short domains?

I prefer to have domains which has nicely targeted keywords and which isn't too long!

What about you?

I choose a domain name based on how it looks, sounds, and feels. Maybe not feels, but you know what I mean. I don't like to go for keywords, unless it's short and easy to sound. Basically, it should sound good.

I don't think I made sense there. Oh well 8)

I try to get my domain names as short as possible. Maximum 2 words, and definitely no dashes. Preferably .coms also.

Yeah, I forgot to say that too. I ONLY buy or register .coms, I can't stand others.

I once registered a .net, but I mostly stick to .com. Like Paula does, I register something easy to remember and easy to spell. I wouldn't like my customers to have difficulty getting to my site.

I agree with raudi on this

When i choose a domain its more about how it sounds and fee rather than how short or long it is.

I select domain names that are catchy but also easy for people to remember and tell others about.

Usually it is a very tough task for me.. First of all I think about the words related to my site. Then combine them in different orders to make them short and easy to remember. The major thing in my choice is the words more related to my site, it can be little bit long but it should express my site completely or should in large part.
