How were you able to get photoshop and dreamweaver for free? A friend? Because they are pretty costly programs.

My favorite free software is Wordpress. It's enabled me to make a pretty efficient and clean-looking site for no cost. I can't imaging having to start from scratch and spending much more time having to learn everything. This way, I learn as a I go, but there isn't a huge gap between what I know and what I can do.

^Another good one, though it seems more like a platform than a program, but, I wouldn't know where to draw the line between the two. A similar program, which I've heard being referred to as an "envrionment," is Joomla. When I master Wordpress and have some free time I definitely want to experiment with Joomla by building another site.
