Default Winrar Or Winzip?

What do you prefer? & Why?

I prefer Winrar because it's fast! Also, while transfering files via FTP you can just transfer them without having to extract them first unline WinZip in which you have to extract the files and then transfer

So what about you? Please post your comments + Thoughts!

I think WinRAR compresses more, so I guess I'd have to go with that The smaller the better. The only problem is that WinRAR doesnt come with windows, so if they add that then we're all set to go.

I use WinRAR only because Windows has built-in winzip already. I just turned off zip functionality for winrar and so zips load faster while rar's provide superior compression.

If im just compressing somthing for myself i use zip

But if it is for others i will normaly use rar

RAR is better at compressing than zip but not as many people have it, thats why it hasnt completely taken over yet.

My first one was the original Gameboy. I never bought a new one until the GBC had been out for a long time, right after the release of Pokemon Gold and Silver.

I guess both has it's own pros and cons.
I have used both.

My personal like is winzip for it's user friendliness.
winrar is little crude, but very useful.

If its for your self use whatever you like the best, I think its all personal preference i prefer tar but i am a linux user. If i would compress something on windows i use .ACE provided by WinAce which also extracts tar, gzip, bzip, and several other un-popular ones does not work well with winrar.

I go with Winrar. Bcoz I personaly think that Winrar is better since it is easier to understand and moreover it supports many file types.
