Default Custom cPanel skins...

Does anyone use one of these cPanel skins?

Do you think it'll make your cPanel better in a client's view? I think that anything that is graphically appealing apart from the standard cPanel look is a definitely plus - and will benefit in the long run.

But do you think that it really makes a difference? Are users now "desensitized" towards the plain look of the typical cPanel theme?

Anyone own a cPanel skin?

My personal opinion, a custom cPanel skin will go a long way with your customers. It just looks more professional, than the stock cPanel skin.

Ok.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I will definitely be on the look out and will purchase a cPanel skin. I'll probably try to one up on that and see if I can get a custom one going on.

Thanks again

I would love to see some cool custom skins given out as freeware. Anyone know of some that are already?

You know, normally I'd think that were true -- well actually it is true, however you can't expect that same thought from every customer.

I previously ran a web host, that did shared and reseller hosting. To add value to our offerings I purchased the RVSkin set for every server in our fleet, which came at a pretty penny of $85 per server/year. Not really a big deal though. However I once had one customer who signed up and was immediately setup. They thought the servers were fast, and great, but then filed a charge back. Why? Because he felt the RVBlue Skin as too cartoony, showed a child-like company. Overall the customer was simply acting ridiculous, but with paypal, they still won the chargeback.
