CentOS cannot be a Debian based Linux Distro as it supports cPanel and other control panels which aren't supported on Debian. It's the most refined Linux Distro available as for now.

Not at all Mr Domainer. Cent OS is based on Red hat enterprises linux that is community supported operating system as the name itself stands for Community enterprises operating system where as Debian can be used as a desktop as well as server operating system. It focuses on stability and security and is used as a base for many other distributions.but one question is raised in my mind also which one is more beneficial? whether cent or deb based? I think it depends on wqhich type of utilization is require there? any one please may let us clear !
