Blink 182 2009 tour?
I have heard rumors that Blink is coming back together for a 2009 tour. Do any of you guys know if this is true? I was never really a Blink fan but know that Tom's voice has been heard(AVA) i think if they wrote some knew songs, not sounding like punks, they would be good. Whats your opinions of this?

Blink 182 2009 tour?
The Grammys have managed to coax blink-182 out of their five-year hiatus — sort of. The punk trio will appear at this Sunday’s ceremony… as presenters. A Grammy rep confirmed to Rock Daily that blink-182 will take the stage in some capacity, but wouldn’t elaborate on the details. Blink last appeared together onstage in December 2004, two months before the band went on an indefinite hiatus. Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker went on to from +44 while Tom DeLonge formed Angels & Airwaves.

mark already told the guys in pluss 44 he is going to split up the band to do a solo thing and the guys in ava felt asthough the band was all about tom. so the broke up and blink is back

I remember they used to be very popular in high school, that was about 7 or so years ago for me. It would interesting to see them perform together again, after being broken up for so long, and going off to create different bands. I'm sure the fans would appreciate it.

Blink isn't really my kind of music, but still it's a must see! :-)
I've heard some rumors that it'll be a road tour and that there will be several concerts this summer.

I heard on the radio that they would be doing another tour soon. I think they had a very large amount of fans, so their tour will do well. I don't think I'd want to see them though. I never really liked them that much.

Used to listen to Blink a few years back, but along with my music interest it's dried out somewhat -where I was more niche consuming music, i'm now more all consuming - so not so much into a specific group anymore
