Personally, I prefer computers. Computers are more versatile, and produce better games of the genres I prefer, MMORPG and FPS. Most must-buy console games are ported to the PC anyway, so I don't lose much.

I prefer to play a game on a pc. I find the mouse more acute and the keyboard is more flexible.
But there are times when it’s fun to just sit down on the couch and play a game more casually and it’s much more fun to play a game with some one in the room with you.

It depends on the game, really. For example, Final Fantasy XI - I wouldn't want to play this on the PlayStation due to the fact that there is so many hotkeys, macros, and other things, besides, I wouldn't want to have to find a place to sit with a PlayStation Keyboard, mouse, and controller, if all that was needed to play it.
The computer has good games, and those good games can be great online, such as Diablo, WarCraft, but then again there is other games on the consules that are great, and simply great because they're good games and don't need to be online.
Overall, I would have to side with consules simply so I could relax on my bed with a simple controller instead of a clumpy and odd shaped keyboard and mouse, which needs a flatened surface to function properly, even with an optical.

By far consoles are better because they often run smoother and the games are easier to get used to. Plus online is fast moving and you won't get any PC lag just Internet connection lag.

For FPS games I usually use my computer since a controller doesn't work well for aiming but for all other genres of games I use my consoles. For every genre of game I have at least one top title. I always try to get the best title from the best genre on every console I own. So far no RPG for my gamecube though

PC gaming can be good, it just depends on the type of games. RPG games and online games are often better for the PC because they have a more powerful engine to run off of.
