Websites can be inspired by other websites but not copied. For many it is hard to come up with "original" web designs but since there are so many websites created it is difficult to do. What i like to do is take ideas of navigation from one website, header ideas from another, content layouts from another. Then find a way to piece it all together without viewing the source of the inspired websites.
