I am a real estate broker so many attachments are pdf.
I did some more reasearch and found this is a flaw of IE 8 but they are working on it. I uninstalled IE 8 and reinstalled IE 7 waiting for the correction.
My stepsons and their families like firefox; our multiple listing services (and I use four in the central PA area) seem to have and affinity for IE!
