Without GC, I was forced to watch tv yesterday. Yeah, the cable's free, but it's totally crappy
. I have 37 channels. 10 of those are public access channels (WHY??? WHY??? WHY IS THIS NECESSARY???
). 3 are Spanish channels (too bad I don't understand a word of Spanish). I have 2 C-Span channels, a boxing channel, and 2 horse racing channels (too bad I'm not into politics, boxing, or horse racing). And I have three shopping channels (QVC, Shop NBC, and HSN), which I'm not into either.
Here's the list of all the cable channels I don't have that I wish I had: MTV, VH1, BET, E!, Style, Bravo, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, USA, TNT, FX, TLC, Discovery, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, and any movie channels (IFC, Sundance Channel, AMC, TMC, etc.)
What kind of horrible cable do I have? Poor, poor me. I always feel so left out whenever there's a thread on GC about shows on one of the channels I don't have (like 8th & Ocean, Surreal Life, and Nip/Tuck)
