What do you guys all think of http://spotrunner.com? I would love to try it out to market business but it's a little out of my budget.

Wow! Those prices are so much cheaper than I ever imagined. I'd definetly give this a try if I had the correct business.

In the past, I've tried advertising on local "people" channels; channels where the programs are created and put on by ordinary people. It wasn't a commercial, but rather some text on a sold background. It brought a few customers, but they weren't long term customers. Spotrunner.com is offering spots on networks like ESPN for $40! That could bring in some actual money!
