Template vs. Fully Coded

What do you prefer? Would you rather make a website from scratch, no images, just coding work?

Or would you rather open up Photoshop, design your site and slice it up into a bunch of images?

I prefer creating a template in Photoshop then slicing it. Designing my own template allows me to be as creative as I'd like to be, and the end result will be fully customizeable.

I send my design to a coder after I design my website, because I'm not fluent enough in XHTML/CSS to make a tableless design that looks fluid.

No matter what, even if a design isn't going to have any images in it, I like to go into Photoshop and get everything how I want it. If I do it this way it is a lot easier to do all of the width's, height's, margin's and paddings. Also much easier on colors :) .

I try to photoshop it first, but I make so many changes in dreamweaver that it looks completely different in the end.

I like coding a site a lot more becasue I feel better when I am done because I have really done something.

Ive all ways just coded a website

Using a template never even enters my mind
But I don’t make websites professionally I just do it for free when someone needs it.
