Has anyone played this game? I've heard great reviews and some bad. Such as it takes a lot of effort and learning to play it. I've never played the series but the concept looks interesting.

Any feedback?

After playing Civ3 for quite a while, I found Civ4 a bit disappointing.

Yes, it has lots of new stuff like religion and types of units, but the fact that the game ran sluggish at my comp (Barton 3000+, 1Gb, fx5600) made my kinda angry and never got the patience to try it out and learn the new stuff.

Still, it is definitely a must if you like strategy turn-based games.
