How much time for inbound links to be picked up?
Hi,
I'm building links into various landing pages (via blogs, forums and articles). All good/valid content and sites. I'm using my market's search keywords for the anchor text - EG: Web Site Design in Auckland Does anyone know; 1. Approximately how long it takes Google to pick up these inbound links? 2. Is there a site/util which accurately shows inbound links for a particular page? I'm not sure the links section in the Gooogle Webmaster Tools are accurate. Cheers, Bob. |
There are a couple of different routes you can go. I would recommend a professional SEO tool such as SEO Power Suite. You can download a free trial and use SEO Spy Glass to determine what links are showing up and what details are available about each. You can also download and install SEO Quake (SEO Tool bar) for Firefox that will tell you a lot about the number of links a particular site has.
Good luck! R@ZoR |
Thanks R@Zor :) Yeah, I downloaded SEO Power Suite a while back, I'll take another look (never enough hours in the day!)

The time taken by Google to pick your backlinks depends on many factors. 1. Time taken by Google to crawl the page where your links from 2. Time to synchronize details of link info between multiple data centers etc About Webmaster tools, I think the most reliable source of backlink info is from it. It is from Google that is why I trusted it more than any other tools. |
When links will index then Google pick up as inbound link because i am doing link building with other websites using anchor text seo india company and counting.

How fast the SE will pick up links is very difficult to give a straight answer to, but more or less all the time I would think. It depends very much where the link is from!
