What browser do you design for?

What browser do you design for, and what screen resolution? I aim for 1024x768 (not maximised) because most of my audience are people who have good computers, but I try to be as cross browser compatible as possible as people seem to use a lot of different browsers these days.

I try to avoid ruling out older versions of browsers too - just in case people are viewing from work.

I have a Windows PC, Linux PC, and Mac. I try to get my designs to look right on all of them. I also design for 800 x 600, but fluid so that anything higher than that still looks right. If I can't get my original design to meet those requirments, I change the design to something that does.

Well I design my sites for Internet Explorer and FireFox and for resolution of 1024x768 and also for 800x600. In addition I also take care of my dial-up users by keeping the amount of graphics very limited and use it only in extreme need.

I design for 1024x768.

I also design for Opera first, then all the others. It seems if it is viewable in opera, it's viewable in the others. Opera was always kind of the different one from the bunch.

I try to stay away from things that mess up in different browsers. =)
