How to choose the right Distro for you

If you are a first time Linux user, you are probably confused on what Distro to use. Take this simple quiz to find out which Distro to use: http://www.zegeniestudios.net/ldc/in...firsttime=true I found this awhile ago when trying to find a good flavour for my laptop and book marked it. Thought it would be helpful for anyone here.

For servers, the free options are Fedora if you want a less-consuming OS, and CentOS if you want a more stable one.

For global choice, that test is really nice and well-done. There are several distros that aren't taken into account though.

If you get a hosting service, you generally don't need to pay for OS. RHE is almost free as far as end users are concerned, for example.
