How many hours a day do you watch TV ?
 

By watch I mean sit down and watch just TV as well as having it on while cleaning and other stuff. I get about 10 hours a day in of TV I think. some times only 6 hours.

I watch TV around 3-4 hours a day.

I rarely watch TV. When I do it's usually when I'm eating or taking a break from working on the computer. Often times I'll start a show but will not finish it. TV isn't all that great at keeping my attention.

Maybe one hour of pundits if I'm lucky, or if I'm so exhausted from work and have to sit down and relax. I only follow a couple of shows, and check the news every so often. But for the most part, I go to the web for information and sometimes for entertainment too, like reading my favorite blogs.

wow..i have not been watching tv since i worked.
Maybe only 5 minutes and 15 minutes..because i very busy.

It depends how many hours per day I'm sitting in front of the TV screen. If I'm there it is never switched off ;)... Well I do it when I'm home usually after 9 pm... and I don;t think that it is more than 3 hours every day.

Getting home at 9pm, you have time for 3 hours of television? Wow, I would hardly be able to stay up for a few hours if I were to get home from work that late.

I tend to watch less than 1 hour of TV per day, and usually I don't watch any TV (if YouTube doesn't count). I just don't have time for it when there are so many other projects that demand my time and attention. I wish I had more time for TV, but then again if I did, that would mean that I wouldn't be as productive as I am now.

3-4 hours a week, so half hour a day.

TV is soda pop for the mind.

But to answer the question, about 1 or 2 hours a day, and always LOST on Wednesday. :)

That's a really good way to put it! I mean, there are exceptions, like nature or informational shows, or watching pundits (sometimes).

And even the show Lost has some elements that make it more worthwhile, since it has a lot of suspense and you have to figure out all of the mysteries.

Thanks for the compliment. I just read on another blog that the average person watches 5 hours a day. That means someone out there is watching 8-9 hours of TV to make up for me. That person should get a life! :)

Yeah, it's definitely soda pop for the mind. I mean, just think about all the commercials you have to get through to watch a show...at least 15% of your time in front of the tube is being subject to advertising, much of it being subliminal.

Yikes! 5 hours is almost *half* of an entire day!

just watching news.. 1 hours max.. 12 hours in from of my computer monitor.. :)

well, i spend more time in computers right now so i don't have interests in watching TV now. i even don't watch a day. it's just that i'm too addicted in using my PC. :D

Only a few yrs ago id average probably 3-4hrs a night. These days its about 4 hrs a week.

Im just sick to death of game shows and reality tv (which seems to be 90% of free to air programming), that I basically download the stuff I want to watch and watch it when I want to.

I dont watch as much as I used to. Spend more time on the computer noe--love it!!

Watching TV really does help to relax I think. I get 3 -4 hours daily to watch tv....but no movies lately. Only some sitcoms and I do like them a lot.

I don't know how people waste their time by watching television. I don't watch television that much. I only watch prison break TV serial regularly this one is my favorite.

I still watch my regular soap (and that is only one lol ) but most of the time I now spend on my computer, as I am still learning!:D I do enjoy a good film now and again though:)

I love tv but I have not much free time :-(
