Which firewall do you use ?

Which firewall do you use ?

I have used many firewalls. After changing a lot of firewalls, I have now settled on Kerio. ( I use Kerio 2.1.5, the newer versions do more harm than good ). It does its job well and is light on memory.

Hm...

At the moment I am stuck with Windows Firewall...no changes made to it. However, I am planning to purchase a Bundle pack of either Zone Alarm or McAfee whichever is better...so guess it'll help. :)

Why don't you try out Kerio v2.1.5 before purchasing anything. Its free :). If it suits you you might save money. It suits me atleast.

Nah...I don't want to go with any firewall except ZoneAlarm or McAfee or any other well known package...even though they are 'fairly good' at that job, being free, I would go with a well known software... :) I'll purchase it as soon as I re-format my computer :)

Thanks for suggesting though.

I use Sygate personal. Its free, low on resource usage, non-intrusive, and it works.

I used to use Norton, but I find their subscription policy annoying and had problems with the setup assuming too much sometimes.

I also use Sygate Personal Firewall. I have been using it for years and it works just fine and I'm so happy with it. Unfortunately it was stopped due to acquisition by... you know.
