3D Rendering Programs

I used to use 3D rendering programs when I designed for fun; that's not to say that I don't anymore. I used 3D StudioMax, Cinema4D, and Bryce. I once used Lightwave, but it didn't turn out too well. Lightwave is for computer farms where each computer takes on a different part of the image to render. My computer couldn't handle it.

I don't use them much now that I create and sell web designs. Once in a while, I'll create an abstract render for a clan template, or a render of an object I can't find a good stock of.

Does anyone else use them for web designs?

I tried Bryce a little bit a year ago, and it was a great program but I'll personally stick to 2d. I would love to learn 3d sometime though, the stuff you can do with it is amazing.

I used to render in c4d a lot, although now my computer hates it. Every time I try to render with lights or textures, it doesn't work.

I just get my renders from render sites like http://www.render-world.com
To much work doing it yourself.
