What is difference between crawling, indexing and caching?
 
Hey..
Guys i just want to ask a basic question from all of you What is difference between crawling, indexing and caching?

Crawling- Google sends its spiders to your website..
Indexing- Google visited your website and has added you to its database..

Caching- Google toook a snapshot of your website when it last visited and stored the data in case your website went down or if there are some any other issues.

@toryy crawling is said when Googlebot go through you web page link by link and find information in simple word you can say that it check entire you\r web page.

Indexing means when Googlebot collect information after crawling then in indexing those information are organized.

caching is taking the snap shot when last visited by googlebot.
