As far as I know, I belive that McAfee is the better one that anyother guards,
Am I right guys? Cheers :) |
I have a similar situation as well. My mom just bought
herself an HP/Compaq Presario, which came preloaded with a 60 day trial version of NIS 2005 Anti Spyware Edition. While I like the relative simplicity and intuitiveness of the firewall rules it creates, I'm not too thrilled with the tendency for NIS to be a resource hog, nor the high price they want for an annual subscription ($39.95). It expries on January 28, 2006, and I think I will be looking for a similar package, or put Zone Alarm Free, Avast and MS Antispyware on it. It already has Spyware Blaster, and my mom is primarily going to be using Firefox 1.5 as the browser of choice. Avast has an auto update function, but I don't know about ZAF or MSAS. |
i would also like to prefer McAfee ......hope this will helps u ....actually i heard a lot about this .....anyway i am using nod32 and it is good for me .....
|
No doubt McAfee is one but it is little bit heavy on the system.

I have never used zone alarm I know norton is very good except that Mc afee is ok.
|
I don't know but I don't like Norton it makes my PC slow, or maybe I just know how to used it. Bullguard and McAfee work with me best.

Hi!! I think you can use McAfee. The free version that you find on the internet should be good enough. I have it and I am quite happy with it.
:-) |

McAfee is much more better than zonalarm. You need to go for McAfee. I am using it and i am very much satisfied with its performance.
