What Anti-Virus software do you use?

So,

What Anti-Virus do you use? I use Norton's Anti-Virus software :( Don't really like it and I am looking to switch from that. It takes too much time to scan my PC or it's just me (Quick Scan).

What about you? What Anti-Virus software do you use and why?

I use McAfee Anti-Virus software and a firewall w/ the same software. I really like it because it doesn't get in your way while you're trying to do stuff like with Norton Anti-Virus. You also won't get those stupid annoying pop-up things all the time.

I also have good old Nortin to clean up my computer. It works pretty well but it can often give me a few problems.

I use Bitdefender. It works very well for me, and I've yet to encounter any problems.

I have had a chance of using loads of antivirus softwares. My favorite out of them, which I currently use is NOD32. Its by far the best. It does its job well and is very light on memory. The antivirus i most hate is Norton.

I am running a internet ( cyber ) cafe in our city. In the clients I use "BitDefeneder" Anti-Virus while on the Server I use McAfee Anti-Virus. BitDefender is very light and do not take too much of memory and also it is very quick. McAfee is also very quick but it take more memory than BitDefender but less than other ones. However McAfee is much more advanced than BitDefender in my opinion.

For the past 3 - 4 years I have been using Free AVG. During that time I have never had any problems with viruses or malware.

Before free avg I use the free version of computer associates, but they stopped that version.

NAV2008. Excellent, does'nt slows the system like Norton 360 or like the earlier versions. Also the virus definitions on the norton official site helps a lot.

I have used Grisoft - AVG free edition. It works well and isn't too complicated.

I have used AVG with great results. However it slowed down my laptop too much so I deleted it now. I usually install it when I suspect something.

I was fond of using the Symantec Antivirus but now a days I am one of the big fan for Nod. Its one of the best application you can use for removing the viruses from your PC.

You are definitely right. I used to changed every now and then my anti-virus. But when I installed NOD, I didn't click the uninstall button and continue to use it up to now. You must try it guys.. :)

Whwn I use to use PC, I used Symantec/Norton like most people. Then, it became fat and slow. So I switched to BitDefender. It works really well. People who are running PCs, I still do recommend it.
