Social Bookmarking is nice but to improve SERP we need more than links. The links must be relevant. It must also have the right anchors and not come from bad neighborhoods. One major advantage by using Bookmarking and getting links on High PR sites is that your site will be spider'ed by the search engine spiders more often. From my own experience this is extremely valuable.
