Do u like classical music ?

Classical music is very cool and good for knownlege development. Do u think it ? I very like Classical music. how about you ?

Some types of classical, like Mozart, are good for priming specific cognitive tasks, such as spatial reasoning and abstract thinking. Other than that, I'm not sure if the Baby Einstein really makes babies smarter, much of it might be marketing hype.

I like classical sometimes when I'm in the mood for low-key music.

I don't know who could not like classical. In the Western world, there was a time when music was classical...everyone appreciated it.

I personally love classical. Some of my favorite composers are Bach and Chopin.

yes indeed, classic music are undying music. It is true it is used in learning new music. I would never trade classic music to the present music right now, specially the loud music. To listen to classic music is like heaven. I just love it.

I saw the movie, Knowing a few weeks ago. It had this excellent classical piece that was the theme for the movie.

Later on I found out it was by Beethoven, called "Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, II. Allegretto." It fit the film perfectly. Now I listen to it whenever I can.

This has definitely opened my eyes to classical music. I've been a fan, but lately now I'm more interested in finding pieces that help me relax, concentrate, and focus on my work.

It's interesting to me how some people don't like classical music, I definitely do.

In our time, pop songs run for 3-4 minutes. Classical pieces run much much longer than that, as music should, and it took composers months if not longer to finish a piece. And a symphony? That takes much labor and commitment.

I think that pop songs, which are popular among the majority of people, are just bits of sound compared to a full length classical piece. But I guess most people don't share that view.

hi Suzee!
Yes I do. Because it is necessary for peace of mind and soul. You talked about the things I wanted to. I have also seen a music category in trainingshell.com and I suggest you to go there and enjoy music online.
best regards,
Paulcage

Right, but take any movie, like Lord of the Rings for instance, where the music is needed to create the atmosphere...and then people are okay with some classical.

I think in general people don't listen to classical in their car or when they are at home, but if it's part of some other package, then they can appreciate it.

Maybe...
I do not know what you understand by classical music?
I can only tell that I do dislike Beethoven, Mozart and such.

Phayze 08-16-2009 09:40 PM

I have been getting into it here recently. I find it great to listen to when doing school work or just for relaxing.

One artist that I really enjoy is Frederic Chopin. I haven't looked at many, though.

Bryan Dixon 09-17-2009 10:41 AM

Classical music is the earliest and purest form of music. it is so soothing to the ears and the heart, it creates a sense of peace to the listener or the practitioner. I like classical music a lot and i follow it regularly. Thanks

I don't know if you would class this as classical music but I like to listen to soundtracks from films such as:
- Batman (1 & 2)
- Transformers 2.
You get the picture. :D

koshkagoddess 10-14-2009 02:42 AM
